In 2011, DEQ and UPRR completed a Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study for the site. Human health and ecological risk assessments concluded that three areas of shallow soil in the north yard exceeded risk based concentrations (RBCs) for human exposure. The petroleum impacted area in the southern yard also exceeded applicable RBCs for human health, but there is no current complete exposure pathyway. DEQ invites public comment on its proposed remedy for the site.
